Universal Hardware Light Duty Storeroom Lever is designed for doors where the outside should remain locked at all times such as storage rooms or mechanical rooms. The deadlocking latch bolt is operated by inside the lever at all times. A key is used to retract the latch bolt and open the outside. When the key is removed, the outside will lock. The inside lever is unable to lock or unlock the outside lever. The Storeroom Lever comes with a 5-Pin SC1 cylinder and brass plug to provide added security and peace of mind. Equipped with tubular chassis for easier installation, this lever will fit wood or metal doors 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick. The Light Duty Keyed Storeroom Lever features 3-3/4" solid zinc diecast levers, an ANSI Grade 2 rating that's tested to exceed 500,000 cycles, a 3 hour fire rating (UL Listed) and is ADA compliant for light commercial and residential use. A T-strike, full lip strike, 2 keys, mounting hardware and installation instructions are included. Note: There is no push botton on the inside lever so outside lever cannot be left unlocked. A key is always required for entry.
